Mother Saint-Louis

Mother Saint-Louis

Mother Saint Louis, née Louise Elisabeth de Lamoignon, was declared Blessed by virtue of her status as religious woman, but from her youth and her time as wife and mother of a family, her life had borne radical witness to the demands of the Gospel before she ever practised them in response to the religious vocation to which she was called. Does this spark your interest? Then I invite you to follow this extraordinary woman, through her life’s stages first of all, and then beyond her death, into the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Louis that she founded.
